Launching a performance watch often means communicating engineering, materials, and technology. For the Cheetah 2 Pro, the central creative challenge was to express the watch’s metal construction in a way that felt cinematic rather than technical. Instead of relying on conventional product visualization, we explored how the material itself could tell the story of the product’s creation.
The project began with an extensive visual research and development, testing different languages to represent the emergence of the watch. Early explorations ranged from intricate metallic networks to more fluid material behaviors before converging on the final direction. Rather than treating materials as static surfaces, we developed them as dynamic elements capable of assembling, transforming, and revealing the product naturally. The result is a visual language where material becomes narrative.
