COORS LIGHT
FREEZE THE WORLD

Frozen in the moment.

Created for the FIFA World Cup, this campaign captures the exact instant before a decisive shot on goal. Everything stops. Players, pedestrians, pigeons, traffic, and entire city blocks remain suspended in a single frozen moment. Although the film was shot entirely in Buenos Aires, the story unfolds across cities including Tokyo, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires itself, creating the illusion of a global event unfolding simultaneously around the world.

Awards:

ADDY: GOLD Special Effects.

Our work combined digital doubles, set extensions, matte painting, and invisible VFX to transform a single production into multiple international locations while preserving the authenticity of each one. We also developed the environmental effects that reinforce the concept beyond frozen time: icy mist, suspended ice cristals, airborne particles, and subtle atmospheric details that make the world feel frozen in temperature as well. Every element was carefully integrated into the live-action footage to support the performances, cinematography, and storytelling without drawing attention to the visual effects themselves.

The campaign went on to receive industry recognition, including a Gold ADDY for Visual Effects. For us, it remains a great example of how cinematic VFX can expand the scale of a production, create entirely new worlds, and elevate live-action filmmaking.
