SEPHORA FEATURE
A new take on beauty.
For this playful series of Sephora spots, we directed a set of vibrant mini-worlds, each tailored to highlight a specific product like foundation, eyeshadow, and nail polish in bold, stylized settings. Think sequins, shredded cellophane, confetti storms… all moving in carefully choreographed harmony with the product.
This was more than just a campaign, it was an experiment in visual language for social media. Sephora used these shorts to explore new ways of engaging with its audience, testing how bold visuals and rhythmic edits could capture attention and drive interaction online.
Alongside the final spots, we developed a series of material explorations focused on the different qualities of each product. We played with the creamy consistency of foundation and the sparkling, glittery finishes of eyeshadows, exploring how these characteristics could become part of the animation. We also experimented with the product packaging itself, looking at how it could interact with the other elements on screen.
Tinsel was another important part of the exploration. Since it was a key element of Sephora’s global campaign, we developed multiple studies to find different ways of using it, playing with its reflective qualities and how it moved around the products.
These studies helped us shape a visual language that felt playful and distinctive while staying true to the polished aesthetic of beauty advertising.
Of course, not every idea made it into the final spots, but that was part of the fun of seeing how far we could take them.

Exploring the language of materials
Sephora gave us the freedom to bring our own creative perspective to the brief, trusting us to find an approach that felt right for the brand. That confidence gave us room to shape the campaign beyond a straightforward product showcase, with a playful spirit that suited both the brand and the occasion.
